So today I've been sick with the flu. No, it's not that dreaded H1N1 flu, so no worries there. I've been sleeping for most of the day, waking long enough to eat (yay for no vomiting!), drink, and take care of my pets. I even managed to help mom with the dishes. She didn't ask. I washed them while she went to the store, because she was doing so much today already.

When I went back to sleep earlier and slept a few hours, I had a dream that someone wrote a fanfic about The Warriors, particularly between Tutock and Thunder. It wasn't great writing, but it wasn't poor writing either. In fact, the writing style reminded me of something an author would write for fifth and sixth graders.

Upon waking from that dream I felt inspired to read "The New Enemy" by Niori Redfeathers (She knows who she is) on The Warriors web site. And doing this, and following that dream is encouraging me to go back to the sequel and finish writing it.

These past few weeks with my babysitting job, my college assignments, tending to a few RPG role-play sites, taking care of my animals, and writing for the Examiner, I've had very little time to enjoy much else.

I know I still need to work on a chapter to a co-fic that Rogue Ronin and I have going on. She's been patient with me, so I'm thankful for that.

I suppose right now, what I need to do is get over this flu and get lots of rest. Though I feel I really really want to write. And draw.
